Hawaii 5-0 Series Premiere

The pilot could not be more schizophrenic, or clichéd, but comes across as a basic buddy cop story. Since they spent $8 million on this, I think that they could have had a better sense of direction.  .  Nevertheless, it is entertaining.   I am not jumping for joy yet, and there is not much here to get me excited about the setting.
